A boring post, but, hey I was bored too so why not?

So, I figured, seeing I had nothing better to do today, it would be great fun to organize all the gear for my trip on my bed.  This served two purposes.  First off, it forced me to clean all the junk off my bed and put each item in their respectable places.  Secondly, it provided me with a visual of what I'll be totting XC in just a little over a months time.  The birds eye view (refer to Picture 1) made me feel as if I really was a real bird flying around in the upper reaches of someone's bedroom.  Anyways, as I was saying, it made me realize just how much of the gear is just clothing seeing it'll be down right chilly in early morning/evenings while riding.  Once I snapped some action packed photos of the gear stagnating on the bed I tried to organize it all into the B.O.B. trailer bag.  After a few minutes of packing and unpacking and refitting gear I finally found a way to make it all work.    Good thing, right?  In other news, the day prior to today, I hooked the trailer up to my bike and was glad that it was a fairly easy ordeal and took little concentration.  I'm also going to use the seat post rack during the trip incase I need to tot along extra food/water/etc.

I weighed the bag filled with gear and it topped out right about 27 pounds.  This is encouraging I reckon seeing it doesn't include food and/or water products.   I feel half inclined to list all the gear that was on the bed..but really, what's the point?  It really isn't all that important for folks reading this to know.  Plus, I'm sure the super high quality photos speak for themselves.
